Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors usually consists of 7 individuals as in our bylaws, who are all alumni of NED, elected by the members of our organization (pictured below). At this moment, we have 4 directors serving in our board after 3 others resigned recently.

Javaid Iqbal, Chairman
Javaid has a B.E. in Civil Engineering from NED and M.S. in the same discipline from University of Oklahoma in 1986. He is currently working as Director of Pre-Construction Services at RPM Construction in McKinney, TX. [LinkedIn]

Ikhlas Ahmed, Vice Chairman
Ikhlas has a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit. He is currently working at Pellera, a midsize consulting firm, as a Hybrid cloud consultant. [LinkedIn]

Naeem Qureshi, Director of Public Relations
Naeem graduated in Mechanical Engineering from NED. He has more than 40 years of project management, construction and fabrication experience in Oil & Gas Industry. He is currently working as a Senior Project Manager with Alpine Construction, Inc.

Hanif Akhawala, Treasurer
Hanif has a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from NED and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington. He is involved in social activities within Pakistani Community in Dallas and works with different social welfare organizations.
