On Friday August 23, 2019 we organized ‘An Evening with Hassan Sardar‘. It was great to see the turnout of fellow NED Alumni and feedback from participants was very encouraging. We all had a great time reminiscing and enjoyed the company of our fellow alumni.

We also saw Hassan Sardar sahib really enjoyed being among his fellow NEDians and countrymen. He connected well with the attendees. He is certainly a great speaker and his remarks on different issues really displayed his experience and maturity. Folks loved posing questions to him & he loved answering them in detail with relevant anecdotes. The incidents, especially from Asian Games at India, kept us all entertained and his humble recollection of all those stories gave us a good insight into his own strong character. It was overall a great experience to spend time with him that Friday night.

Hassan sahib mentioned his interest in joining us at our special events, and bring in some of his other friends as well, when possible. We look forward to having more engagements with him in future. He is certainly a gem of a person!

A big thank you to everyone who helped in organizing this event, especially Ahsan Usmani, Javaid Iqbal, Asad Siddiqui, Zulfi Ahmed, Shabbir Ali, Afzal Hafeez, Erum Rahman, Filza Ahmad, Ikhlas Ahmed, Azfar Kamal, Tariq Nadeem and many of our guests who helped wrap things up at the end. We all worked like a team – Kudos to our NED Alumni!
